Staff and Horses
Hi! I’m Sherri, the Executive Director of Stridewell Learning, and I’m passionate about helping children, youth, and adults with disabilities grow in confidence, self-advocacy, and belonging, all through the power of horses.
I bring a unique combination of experience to this work:
PhD in Public Policy & Research: I use evidence-based approaches to design programs that truly make a difference and advocate for systemic change.
Credentialed Therapeutic Riding Instructor & EAL Coach: I’ve guided countless participants in equine-assisted learning and therapeutic riding, helping them develop life skills, confidence, and connection.
Disability Rights Advocate: I support families and professionals in understanding and navigating disability services, funding, and legal rights — always with clarity and compassion.
Through my programs, workshops, and speaking engagements, I combine hands-on equine experiences with advocacy education, creating spaces where participants and families feel empowered, informed, and supported.
When I’m not coaching or speaking, you’ll likely find me with my horses, exploring new ways to make learning and advocacy accessible and joyful for all.
